TYPES OF FILES

1. Warding File - filling matches as in keys much used by locksmiths.
2. Mill File - single - cut, finishing and lathe work.
3. Flat File - double - cut for general work.
4. Hand File - double cut finishing flat surfaces.
5. Pillar File - double - cut for normal work.
6.Square File - double - cut file for filling square corner.
7. Round File - single - double cut filling and surfacing.
8. Half Round File - filling corner surfaces.
9. Knife File - filling corner slots, notches and grooves.
10. Three - Square - cut filling corners covers and angles.
